kids & Youth

We love kids and youth, and we want them to love Trinity, too! Our desire is to partner with parents to impact a generation for Christ. When God uses the love of the family together with the light of the church, the result is a generation impacted for Christ. In light of this, we want to help parents raise kids who get the Gospel.

  • Babies & Toddlers

Nursery is available for babies and toddlers.

CHECK-IN: Please check your child in at the nursery in the lower level and notify the workers of any special instructions! At check-in you will receive a pager so we can notify you during the service if we need to.

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP: After your child is checked in, they will enter the nursery through the main door. Depending on the number of children, they may be divided into two groups based on age/mobility to ensure the best care. We are working on developing a toddler class to help toddlers prepare for the preschool room.

Nursery Snacks: We serve Cheerios and animal crackers in the nursery. At check-in, please notify a worker if you wouldn't like your child to have these snacks. If your child has any allergies that we should be aware of, let us know. We will be gladly accommodate to provide a safe environment for your child.

Nursing & Bottles: If you would feel more comfortable nursing your baby in a private setting, there is couch in the sitting room attached to the women's restroom in the lower level. If you need a microwave, there is one in the upstairs room in the south wing.

Please Know: Children of all ages are always welcome in our services! It's okay with us if they make some noise.

    Curriculum Overview:

We will continue using The Gospel Project Curriculum for Kids Church this year:

“[With] The Gospel Project for Kids, kids and preschoolers will understand the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.” (www.gospelproject.com

This fall, we’ll be teaching the volume called “A Kingdom Established.” Here kids will learn about Israel’s first human kings (Saul, David, and Solomon) and their last and perfect King (Jesus). Despite Solomon’s great wisdom, his sin caused the kingdom to divide in two. Solomon’s failures remind us of our need for Jesus, the sinless King who rules perfectly. We’ll also cover Job’s search for meaning in his suffering and the answer to his search that is only found in Jesus. It’s Jesus who gives us reason to praise God even in confusing times.

Please Know: Children of all ages are always welcome in our services! It's okay with us if they make some noise.

    Check-In and Check-Out Procedures:

Your kids are so important to us, and we want you to know they’re safe while they’re in our care. Starting September 10th, drop-offs and pick-ups will happen a little differently for ALL Kids Church attendees (preschool through 5th grade).

Check-In: Please check in your child before the service at the designated i-Pad check-in station.

    • A name tag will print for your child
    • A name tag receipt will print for you (hang on to it!)
    • Please take your child to their classroom for Kids Church — their teacher will be waiting to welcome them 10 minutes prior to class.
Check-Out: After the service, please show your name tag receipt to the teacher. She or he will dismiss the child to you.
  • Middle school students (6th-8th grade)

    Fall Kick-Off: Sunday, September 17th, 5:30-8pm

    Weekly Meeting Time TBA

We believe that youth are not just the church of tomorrow--if they know Jesus, they are the church of today. Our youth group exists to provide middle school (and high school) students with Christian community, fun, and Gospel-centered teaching in order to encourage them to know Christ more, to be bold witnesses for him, and to equip them for life.

Since issues facing middle school and high school students can be very different, we split the students up (especially during teaching time) to engage them where they're at as best as we can. Everyone will meet in the youth room to begin!

This spring (March 5th - April 16th) the youth group led our church in a campaign to raise $6,000 to build a well in a village in Bensa, Ethiopia. To find out more, click here
