a well-building church

Let's become a well-building church to live out the Gospel

and provide a village with clean water.

(Matthew 25:40)

The official fundraising period has come to an end! Thank you to all of you who gave. Praise God, we surpassed our goal of $6,000!

  • the problem:

Every 60 seconds a child dies from dirty water.

1,000,000,000 people don't have access to clean water.

Many of these people have to spend almost 3 hours every day to walk to the nearest water source. This water usually isn't safe and leads to waterborne diseases that especially affect children and babies.

This time spent gathering water and caring for the sick takes time away from work, school, and caring for children.

  • the goal:

To raise $6,000 by Easter to build a clean-water well in Bensa, Ethiopia.

If each family at Trinity gives $75, we can meet this goal!

  • the well:

The money we raise will go towards building a well and providing clean water for the people of a village in Bensa, Ethiopia

In this area, only 35% of people have access to clean water.

  • 3 ways to give:

    Paper

You can donate towards the well with a check or cash using the BLUE envelopes provided at church. What could you live without so others could live?

    Pennies

Grab a Lifewater bottle from the church lobby and fill it with spare change. Return the bottle to church by April 16th (Easter).

    Pancakes

Join us on Easter Sunday morning for pancakes and fruit any time between 8:30 and 10:30. Donations will go towards the project.
