ONE Mission Project Updates

The ONE Mission has two sides

  1. We are being intentional about reaching out to the people in our lives who don't know Jesus.
  2. We are getting our church ready to welcome these people as God moves in their hearts.

The ONE Mission Project Team is about making the latter a reality.

As a church we have pledged over our target $300,000 for renovations to maximize our current facility.

We've had a basic plan but the Project Team is responsible for the details of the renovations and making them happen.

  • The Team

Team Members: Keith Edwards, Mike Ryder, Tess Ambrose, Mike Anderson, Pastor Gary Ridley, and Pastor Travis Erdmann

Team Schedule: We are partnering with Jeffrey Parker Architects to help us make the best decisions for our facility within our budget. For a detailed look at the planning phase that will take place over the next few months, please click here

  • The projects

We hope to begin the renovations in May 2017.

More details on the individual projects are headed your way as we begin to solidify them! For now, here's the basic four components:

    1. Kids & Youth Space - Dedicating the lower level to ministries for the next generation not only gives us tools for teaching the kids who are here now, but it gives us a great place to invite and bring those who are not yet here.
    2. Nursery Relocation - Moving the nursery to the main level keeps the littlest ones close to their parents in the sanctuary, serves moms and dads who are juggling car seats, and frees up space in the lower level.
    3. Sanctuary - Improvements will allow us to make better use of our biggest gathering space, maximizing seating and flexibility for Sunday mornings and beyond.
    4. Entryway? - Originally we had planned to make the south entryway a key welcome area, but after talking with more recent attenders, we've changed this. More details are coming soon.
